"Nowstalgia" is a set of portraits that captures the essence of a modern, K-pop-inspired twist with a Y2K trend. The aim was to create a vibrant portrait series, blending playful accessories with confident, joyful energy. This was an opportunity to explore the recent trending style and experiment with new techniques.

But things didn’t go exactly as planned. When I arrived at the studio, it was packed, so I had to wait longer than expected. By the time I got in, I had less than an hour to shoot, instead of the hour and a half I’d hoped for. I worked quickly, making the most of the time, and thankfully, my lecturer ended up happy with the shots, which was a huge relief! This experience taught me a lot about handling pressure and being adaptable—skills I know will be useful in future projects.
